So, you’re thinking about going through IFC Rush?
A Message From Our President
Welcome!
My name is Nicholas Lopes, President of The Interfraternity Council (IFC) at Florida State, and I want to thank you for taking the first step of being a part of our community.
The Greek community here at Florida State is composed of four councils that are made up of 49 fraternities and sororities, encompassing over 6,800 students. More specifically, IFC is made up of 18 Greek organizations and over 2,400 male students.
Our organizations are comprised of students who are passionate about the continuous development of our members throughout all stages of being a fraternal man: as new members, general members, executive board members, and eventually as alumni.
We work side by side with the Department of Fraternity and Sorority Life to ensure that we are constantly challenging our members to reach their full potential but also to continue to lead as one of the premier IFCs in the country.
Joining an IFC Chapter can be life-changing in a young man's growth when coming to college. Not only do students create lifelong connections, but they also grow as individuals both professionally and personally. Students partake in educational training, community service, and much more while also working to obtain their degree.
I look forward to seeing you partake in our rush process, and in unconquered pride, Go Noles!
