Judicial Board
Purpose of the Judicial Board
The IFC Judicial Board will serve as the judicial branch of the IFC. The IFC Judicial Board has the power to interpret and enforce IFC policies, rules, and regulations in accordance with the IFC Constitution, Bylaws, Judicial Board operating procedures, and Florida State University’s Student and Student Organization Conduct Code. The rulings reached by the IFC Judicial Board are superseded by the rulings of the Florida State University’s Department of Student Conduct and Community Standards, as well as the rulings of any local, state, and federal courts.
Philosophy of the Judicial Board
The IFC at Florida State University is the governing body of 20 men’s fraternities on campus. The Judicial Board is put in place in order to promote and support peer to peer governance and accountability across all 20 IFC member and associate member organizations. The Judicial Board will also further education amongst the IFC men in order to ensure a safer environment.
Roger H. | CHIEF JUSTICE
Roger Haughey is a member of the Florida Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon and is from Tampa, Florida. He is a junior studying Finance and Real Estate, serving as Chief Justice of the IFC Judicial Board. He believes in upholding Florida State fraternities to their commitment to scholarship, service, leadership, and brotherhood.
Blake B. | JUSTICE
Blake Bole is a member of the Alpha Delta Phi fraternity and is from Tampa, Florida. He is a Presidential Scholar studying STEM Entrepreneurship and Finance and serves as a justice on the IFC Judicial Board. Additionally, Blake is a competitor on FSU's Varsity Intercollegiate Debate team and is performing research on Solar Cells at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. He believes in upholding values to leadership, academics, service, and brotherhood.
Alex B. | JUSTICE
Alex Betances is a member of the Delta Chi fraternity and is from Parkland, Florida. He is a junior pursuing a major in mechanical engineering. He believes in upholding the values of accountability, dedication, and reliability.
Michael B. | JUSTICE
Michael Barshack is a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and is from St. Paul, Minnesota. He is a sophomore studying Finance and also serves as the Greek Life Coordinator for Chabad. Michael believes in holding his fellow IFC members accountable through integrity and impartiality.
Cameron C. | JUSTICE
Cameron Chassen is a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity and is from Hollywood, Florida. He is a freshman studying Communications and is a justice on the IFC Judicial Board. He believes in holding all chapters at Florida State to a high standard of brotherhood, scholarship, and excellence.
Isaac D. | JUSTICE
Isaac Didier is a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and is from Kansas City, Kansas. He is a freshman studying biomedical engineering and is a part of the FSU history club, swim club, as well as the biomedical engineering society. As a justice, he believes in upholding the values of loyalty, honest, and respect.
Joshua G. | JUSTICE
Joshua Gabay is a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity and is from St. Pete, Florida. He is a freshman pursuing a major in Finance. He serves as a justice on the IFC Judicial Board promoting the values of loyalty, accountability, ambition, and respect.
Thomas O. | JUSTICE
Thomas O’Connel is a member of the Alpha Delta Phi fraternity and is from Jupiter, Florida. He is a sophomore pursuing a major in Criminology with a minor in Psychology. He is serves on the social committee of Alphadelt and also a fundraising assistant for the American Cancer Society. He serves as a justice on the IFC Judicial Board promoting the values of efficient communication and integrity within the IFC Community.
Brooks U. | JUSTICE
Brooks Utter is a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and is from Jacksonville, Florida. He is a sophomore studying Finance and Marketing. As a justice, Brooks looks to hold the IFC community accountable to a high standard.
